I followed the tutorial and my map is loaded into UMap but at certain zoom levels images can not be found, for example 7-7-9.jpg and 7-7-8.jpg. Everything with 8 and 9 at the end. This is kind of bad since the original image was 32000 x 40000 pixels and 3.5GB. I exported it using the zoomify plugin in Photoshop. Any help? |

| Where did the tutorial go? I was just using it and now it is gone today. Can you at least post the URL to the FLash file for creating the provider class? |

I was working from the Tutorial and could not make it work with the 1.0 component. The Flash extension was missing a bunch of classes needed to make it work with Zoomify.
The component is great, are we going to see the tutorial again soon? |

| The component was not exporting will all of the classes, I could not see them when I inspected the exported SWF in FlashDevelop. Specifically the MecatorProjection and ZoomifyProvider classes were missing. This was a problem for days and then the classes just showed up and now everything works. Now everything is working correctly. Not sure why there random classes missing? |

Probably Flash/Flex bug.
I have encountered one recently. When you import classes from the package with the * wildcard, the class list is generated and stored somewhere inside .fla file. But when the class list changes (e.g. you add couple new classes, or delete some of them) the .fla file will still reference the old list and the compiler will generate errors! This is not related to your problem, but it shows that Flash IDE indeed has some weird bugs. _________________ Dmitry Stolyarov
