One of the coolest features in the upcoming UMap v1.0 release is the integration with Geonames web services. Integration with Geonames makes UMap smarter, and opens up a bunch of cool new possibilities. For example, you can perform basic and reverse geocoding, search geonames and search wikipedia!

Documentation and a detailed description of the new functionality are going to be posted within the next few days. For now, use the example below.
